I student taught under Joan and she always carried a special place in my heart. She was an amazing person, teacher and mentor. Her laughter would permeate the halls of Chippewassee. She was a wonderful storyteller, teacher and friend. I adored just watching and listening to her whether it was in the classroom or in her home on Washington St. Rest in peace Mrs. Joan Conant.
