Rafael Nieto Ramirez, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on November 22, 1941, in H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas, México, Rafael was the cherished son of José Nieto and Josefina Ramírez.
Rafael was preceded in death by the love of his life, Yolanda Bustamante, who passed away just six months earlier. Together, they shared 56 beautiful years of marriage-a bond filled with laughter, devotion, and shared dreams.
Rafael was a man of simple joys and a vibrant spirit. He loved dancing, playing the lottery, and especially enjoyed his scratch-off tickets. A true lover of sweets, his favorite treat was chocolate, and he never started a day without his pan dulce and coffee-always enjoyed at his favorite spot. A meal, in his eyes, was never complete without some fiery, spicy chili.
He is survived by his loving children: sons Jorge Nieto and Andrés Nieto; daughters Patricia Nieto and Luz Nieto. He also leaves behind his dear sister, Belén Nieto, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and joy to his life.
Rafael lived for his family, and his presence filled every gathering with warmth, humor, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him-his family, friends, and community.
May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with his beloved Yolanda.

Rafael Nieto Ramírez, amado padre, abuelo y amigo, falleció pacíficamente el 16 de junio de 2025, a la edad de 83 años. Nació el 22 de noviembre de 1941 en H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas, México, Rafael fue el querido hijo de José Nieto y Josefina Ramírez.
Rafael fue precedido en la muerte por el amor de su vida, Yolanda Bustamante, quien falleció apenas seis meses antes. Juntos, compartieron 56 hermosos años de matrimonio-un vínculo lleno de risas, devoción y sueños compartidos.
Rafael era un hombre de alegrías simples y un espíritu vibrante. Le encantaba bailar, jugar a la lotería y disfrutaba especialmente de sus boletos de rasca y gana. Un verdadero amante de los dulces, su golosina favorita era el chocolate, y nunca comenzaba un día sin su pan dulce y café-siempre disfrutados en su lugar favorito. Una comida, a sus ojos, nunca estaba completa sin algún chile picante y ardiente.
Le sobreviven sus queridos hijos: los hijos Jorge Nieto y Andrés Nieto; hijas Patricia Nieto y Luz Nieto. También deja atrás a su querida hermana, Belén Nieto, ocho nietos y siete bisnietos, todos los cuales trajeron un inmenso orgullo y alegría a su vida.
Rafael vivió por su familia, y su presencia llenó cada reunión de calidez, humor y amor. Será profundamente extrañado por todos los que tuvieron el honor de conocerlo: su familia, amigos y comunidad.
Que descanse en paz eterna, reunido con su amada Yolanda.
