89 of Exeter New Hampshire, passed away
peacefully on November 1,2025 after a
long illness.
Born on September 16th 1936
to Jesus and Delores Reyes Castiano,he grew up
in Cuba City of Santa Clara and graduated School of Belen
a prestigious Jesuit preparatory boarding school. He pursued
a career in Upolstery/Interior Design,retiring from many years
of dedicated work.
Rafael was a devoted Husband, loving father, and steadfast friend.
His love and dedication to his wife, children and family were unwavering.
to his wife of 69 years Dalia (Roque) he was a loyal and dedicated husband.
As a father, he was both kind and fair, instilling the values of honesty, humility, compassion,
and hard work in his daughters. He loved playing with his grandchildren, building treestands
hunting and fishing. He was a friend to all that knew him,
generous and always willing to lend a helping hand.
A man of quiet faith Rafael was deeply dedicated to his Catholic Church beliefs,
and to St. Michael's Parish, where he found community, comfort, and purpose.
He was someone who found joy and wonder in the beauty and miracles of nature.
Rafael cherished time spent outdoors observing wildlife, hiking, gardening and capturing the world's
splendor through potography.
Ever resourceful, he wpould repair something rather than replace it,reflecting his patience
practicality and appreciation for life's simple blessings.
Rafael was predeceased by his parents,Jesus, Delores Reyes,and his Brothers and sisters.
Rafael is survived by his beloved wife, Dalia Reyes,his daughters Maria Reyes,Beatrice Eldon,Elizabeth Reyes,
Michele Buchanan. his Grandchildren who he adored, Ashley Page, Justin Scamman, Amy Cantone,Brittney Canada.
Great-Grandchildren, Addison Page, Brandon Page, Khloe Scamman, Caleb Cantone, Callie Cantone.
Family and Friends are invited to celebrate Rafaels Life November 14th, at 11:00 - funeral Mass
at ST. Michael's Catholic Church, Exeter N.H. 03833 in lieu of flowers, the Family asks
that donations be made to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department Concord N.H.
Rafael's faith,kindness,humility,and love will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who new him.
Camp in NY was his little peice of heaven!!!
