Son, Brother, Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Papa, Pops…the titles of a man known as Rafael Rodriguez. Rafael, 80, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on March 14, 2024.
He was born on January 20, 1944, in Edroy, TX, to Santiago and Raquel Rodriguez.
He is survived by the love of his life, Juanita; children Nellie Peralez, Lori Rodriguez, Abel Rodriquez, Belinda Johnson, Rafael Rodriquez Jr., Bobby Rodriquez, Eli Rodriquez, Rachel Rodriquez, Jacob Rodriquez, Randy Rodriquez, Rosa Garcia, and Chris Ramos.
From a previous marriage, he is survived by children Joe Rodriquez, Ralph Rodriquez, Ricky Rodriquez, Emelda Zamudia, and Raul Rodriquez.
Rafael is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved and adored him.
He is preceded in death by his father Santiago; Mother Raquel; two sisters Julia Garza, and Otilia Rodriguez; and two brothers Antonio Rodriguez, and Raul Rodriguez.
He was a devoted husband and father. He found pleasure watching Cowboy movies and listening to music. He enjoyed the laughter and company of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
