Ms. Rahnauta F. Lopez, affectionately known as "Nee-Ne," was born on January 2, 1981, to the loving union of Joe Nathan Ford and Gwendolyn Lopez-Ford in Richmond, Virginia. She was the one of five children, and in her early years, the family relocated to Detroit, Michigan, where she would embark on a journey of faith and personal growth.
From a young age, Rahnauta embraced her Christian faith, nurturing her spirituality as she attended various churches throughout her life. She received her education in the Detroit Public School System, where she attended Marsh Elementary School, Ann Arbor Trail Middle School, and Frank Cody High School. After high school, she pursued her passion for nursing at Lawton Technical School in Southfield, Michigan, which sparked her dedication to the healthcare profession as a Medical Assistant, notably serving at Alabama Dermatology and Rejuvenation Center.
Rahnauta was a profoundly loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her greatest pride and joy were her children, Dai'jah Chanel Lopezand Meikhi Ja'Shun Arnold, whom she cherished deeply. With abundant love and firm support, she embraced her role as a mother, ensuring her children knew they were her utmost priority. Rahnauta's vibrant spirit shone brightly in all her endeavors, whether she was traveling, enjoying quiet evenings at home relaxing and watching one of her favorite TV shows, or celebrating the bonds of friendship with those dear to her, including a loving and parenting connection with Rafael Johnson.
