Only hearing of this now, a real shock. We were roommates at Columbia U and good friends beyond our college days. I count him among the smartest and most creative people I have known, always curious and eager to explore all tributaries of the arts and sciences, as well as a thoroughly good person. I'm sorry we fell out of touch and cannot now renew our acquaintance. Farewell, Rajeev.

I just learned of Rajeev's passing. What a shock. Unquestionably one of the smartest people I know. Full of imagination, full of curiosity, full of life. So sad to hear he's no longer with us.

So very sad to just learn this news. I have only the fondest memories of when we were roommates back on West 108th Street-what a talented, terrific person.

I am so sorry to hear that my friend from college days has passed away. I have such fond memories of knowing him back at Columbia College and on 108th Street in NYC. We had so much fun going to art house movies together. We worked at the Picasso MOMA exhibit one summer. We visited Lamont Doerty together where his parents lived, and later when they moved to Pittsburgh. I have some pictures of him from those days. If you would like, I can share them with you. Rajeev was such a smart and warm individual. My best wishes to the family.
