It is with heavy hearts and much sadness to let you know about the passing of our son, Rajesh Kumar Nakrani, 45, who died suddenly of natural causes Saturday, September 27, 2025.

His life began December 6, 1979 in Lansing, Michigan, the second of three children born to Khimji and Lori Nakrani.

Rajesh played tuba in Okemos High School, both in the orchestra and the marching band. He continued playing tuba in college in the North Carolina State marching band. In addition to North Carolina State, he attended Pensacola Christian College, Campbell University. Rajesh received a Bachelor degree in computer science which allowed him to pursue his life interest in computer gaming development, eventually working for the Red Storm division of Ubisoft.

Rajesh will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Khimji and Lori (Scholten) Nakrani; his brother, Jason Nakrani; and his sister, Jennifer Nakrani.

The family will observe a private remembrance.

The family prefers contributions in memory of Rajesh be made to American Diabetes Association, Grand Rapids Office, 1550 East Beltline SE, Suite 250, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49506.
