Rakeem loved music and had a passion for rapping and making music. He was interested in creating his own clothing line and wanted to be his own boss in business.
Rakeem is survived by his parents Rakeem W. Floyd of Philadelphia PA and Lauren A. Rideout of Chambersburg PA, son Sai'yir DeAndre Floyd, siblings; Olyvia A. Rideout, Dineja N. Floyd, Malik Floyd and Cidney Mellot, grandparents; Sharon A. Rideout, Milton E. Hart, Patricia Floyd and James Richard Hobbs, aunts; Brittny A. Rideout, Nia C. Hart and Lynette M. Floyd, uncles; Edgar M. Floyd and John McNeal, as well as a numerous amount of great aunts, great uncles, and many cousins
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., 725 Norland Avenue, Chambersburg, with Rev. Victor Johnson officiating. There will be a viewing for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Chambersburg. The family requests that there be no phones, photos, or videos taken during these services. Anyone who does not follow this request will be asked to leave.
