RALPH E. BIESECKER
Ralph Biesecker, 81, of Thompson Township and formerly of Gibson, PA was called home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Elaine; his son, Jeremy; two siblings, David Biesecker and Barbara Darrow; a brother-in-law and sister-in- law, Lloyd (Beverly) Sheldon; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Thelma Biesecker; and his brothers, Gene and George Biesecker.
Ralph served in the US Navy after he graduated from high school. After he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Houghton College, he worked for the college in various positions. He founded and directed the travelling music group Son Touched. Ralph "retired" from working at the Steamtown Mall as the Operations Director. Alongside his wife, Elaine, he owned and operated the Creekside Shoppe, Gibson, PA for many years. Ralph was involved with the Teen Ministry at the South New Milford Baptist Church as the Music Director of Teens Involved and the Travelling Ministry Team. He was an active member of the church and directed the choir and many Cantatas. Ralph loved gardening and outdoor work. He was self motivated and always working at one project or another until his last breath. Throughout his life, Ralph was devoted to the Lord, his wife, his son, and was a blessing to countless other souls.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the South New Milford Baptist Church, 2067 Harford Road, New Milford, PA 18834. Friends may call from 9-11, at the church, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to Word of Life Fellowship, PO Box 600, Schroon Lake, NY 12870.
