Ralph Glyn Blakesley

Ralph Glyn Blakesley, 96, of Pasadena, Texas passed away on November 30, 2025, at Mason Creek Nursing Home in Katy, Texas.

Ralph was born on December 14,1928 to Ralph Chester and Mildred Lillian Blakesley. Ralph grew up and spent most of his life in Pasadena, Texas where he worked in the oil and gas industry as a Gauger for ARCO Oil Company. After retiring, Ralph eventually moved to Montgomery, Texas where he would remain until his final years which were spent at Mason Creek in Katy, Texas.

Ralph enjoyed many hobbies, but his love of nature meant traveling was the one he was most passionate about. True to his adventurous nature, Ralph made multiple trips to Colorado to enjoy the National Parks, New Mexico for the Hot Air Ballon Festival, and St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands to simply relax or board a vessel for a Barefoot Cruise. Ralph pursued every opportunity to be in the middle of nature or on the water. And yet, there was no place Ralph loved more than his home state of Texas where he enjoyed spending time on the lake with family and friends engaging in epic battles of Sequence.

Ralph was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Anne Blakesley. He is survived by his daughters, Nella Ruth Blakesley and Sheryl Blakesley Hunter, his son, Ralph William (Bill) Blakesley, and his grandchildren, Sarah Browning, Natalie Hunter and Liam Blakesley.
