Ralph Kenneth Boyd Jr.

Ralph Kenneth Boyd Jr, 58, of Ocean Gate, NJ passed away December 19, 2025, with a long battle with cancer with his loving family at his bedside. Ralph was born in Pt. Pleasant, NJ and raised in Toms River, also lived in Bayville then has been a resident of Ocean Gate for many years.

Mr. Boyd was a truck driver for most of his working life. He was employed with several trucking companies in the area, lastly employed with Brick-Wall Corporation. Ralph was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting. He was a life member of the NRA and was a NASCAR fan. Mr. Boyd was a devoted dad and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his father Ralph Sr. Surviving is his son Ralph III, his mother Patricia Boyd, four sisters Patricia Boyd-Medema, Michelle Whitaker, Marlisa Allen, and Dawn Brown and her husband David. Also surviving is his former wife and caregiver Maryfrances Yurgel, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear close friends, especially T.J. Feimer, his trucking buddies, and Milo.

Visitation for family and friends will be offered on Sunday December 28, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721 with a prayer Service at 3: 30pm. Gathering for family and friends will be Monday December 29, 2025 from 9:00-10:0am at the Funeral Home followed by a Burial at Harmony Methodist Cemetery, 569 Harmony Road, Jackson, NJ 08527.
