DEBARY, FL - Ralph William Cecil, 89, of DeBary, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, following complications from a seizure and multiple strokes.

Ralph was born on August, 30, 1936, in Princeton, West Virginia. He was one of nine children born to the late Giles Mac Cecil and Ottie Ethel Holt Cecil. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Carnes Cecil, and Woodrow Cecil; and sisters, Carrie Mills, and Shirley Browning.

Ralph is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Helen Asbury Cecil; his two children, Beverly (Steve) Donovan of Hickory, North Carolina, and Kevin Cecil of DeBary, FL; his four cherished grandchildren, Derek (Ashley), Teren, Kendall, and Carter; four sisters, Betty (Bill) Messink, Leona (Everett) Walker, Mary (Dale) Church, and Louise (Wayne) Sanders; two sisters-in-law, Brenda Kiser, and Barbara Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Army and later went on to enjoy a long and accomplished professional career working 25 years as a computer programmer at the AAA National Office and as CEO of ABSA Consulting.

A man of faith, Ralph was a devoted member of Volusia County Baptist Church in Orange City, Florida.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home, 1612 Honaker Avenue, Princeton, West Virginia, 24740 with Rev. Wayne Sanders and Pastor Gary Raulerson, officiating. The family will receive visitors from noon until the service hour. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ralph's memory to Volusia County Baptist Church, 261 S. Orange Ave, Orange City, Florida, 32763.

Ralph will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, faithful servant of God, and a man whose quiet strength and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
