Ralph Cinnamon Obituary
February 13, 1953 - May 20, 2025
Lexington, Kentucky - Ralph Wayne Cinnamon, age 72, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, at Baptist Health Lexington, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Danville, Kentucky, Ralph was a proud graduate of Lafayette High School, Class of 1971. He spent 40 dedicated years with Kentucky Utilities, retiring as the Bluegrass Substation Superintendent. Known for his unwavering work ethic and calm leadership, Ralph was committed to his career and the people he worked alongside.
A man of quiet faith and deep devotion, Ralph was a longtime and dedicated member of Mt. Zion Christian Church. He found joy and purpose in serving the church community, including volunteering his time with the church's mowing team.
Above all, Ralph was a devoted father and Papaw. He loved nothing more than being with his family. Whether cheering on his grandchildren, vacationing together, or playing golf with his close friends especially his beloved "old geezers club" he lived life with gratitude, humor, and heart.
He is survived by his children, Kelly Cinnamon Wolf (Steve) and Corey Cinnamon; his grandchildren, Justin Wolf (Julia), Morgan Wolf, and Collin Wolf; his sister, Donna Cinnamon Neace (Mike); and Gloria Cinnamon, mother to Kelly and Corey. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Charles Cinnamon and Juanita Campbell Cinnamon, and his brother, William "Rocky" Charles Cinnamon Jr.
A memorial service will be held at Mt. Zion Christian Church, 3631 Combs Ferry Road, Winchester, Kentucky, on Tuesday, May 27th. Visitation will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a service beginning at 6:00 p.m. The service will be officiated by Kenny Speaks, Minister and cousin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ralph's honor to the Mt. Zion Christian Church Mowing Team, PO Box 4330, Winchester, KY 40392.
