Ralph Earp Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. - Annville on Feb. 12, 2022.
To say Ralph was an amazing husband, father and Poppy is an understatement. There was never a moment Ralph didn't have time for his family, neighbors or friends. He was always willing to give a helping hand or spend time the people he loved. Ralph was born in Harrisburg on February 6, 1940 to the late Ralph N. Earp, Sr. and Roxane (Stinson) Earp. He was a 1958 graduate of Annville-Cleona High School and a 1962 graduate of Lebanon Valley College. In 1958 he held the county track meet record at Annville H.S. For a short time, Ralph taught school in Palmyra and Cornwall and enjoyed coaching track. He was the senior manager/director at CNA Insurance Company in Reading. Ralph was the Honorary Town Marshall of Tombstone, AZ and following his retirement, he was a deputy state conservation officer. Ralph was a dedicated member of the Moravian Church of Lebanon, where he was a Sunday School superintendent, trustee, and an elder. He was also affectionately known as "Chaplain" of the Young at Heart group at church. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Lodge #226, 50 year member Harrisburg Consistory and the Zembo Temple Shrine. Ralph was known for his generous spirit and willingness to always help someone in need, in whatever way he could. He and Carol had a storybook marriage and they adored spending time together whether it was with their children, grandchildren, or just being with one another.
He is survived by his son, Douglas N. Earp (Helena) of Lebanon, daughter, Elizabeth A. Kreider (Brad) of Bethel, grandchildren, Wyatt, William, Macy and Madison, and his step grandchildren, Mike, Helena, and Kristyna. He was preceded in death by his son, Marc A. Earp.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 16, 2022 at 11AM from the Moravian Church of Lebanon, 1115 Birch Road, Lebanon. Interment will be in God's Acre Cemetery (Moravian Cemetery), Lebanon. There will be a visitation with the family from 10AM – 11AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to his church.
