Ralph Lee Hamill

Ralph Lee Hamill, a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and cherished friend, left this world on October 4, 2025, at the age of 80. Ralph was born on October 16, 1944, in Bennington, Bryan County, Oklahoma, a place that would forever hold a special place in his heart. He was the son of the late John Joel Hamill and the late Dorothy Marie Messick Hamill.
Visitation: The Life Church-Dallas, 18610 Marsh Ln, Dallas, TX 75287, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm for family and friends Thursday, October 16, 2025 followed by funeral services at 12 at The Life Church-Dallas. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
Ralph's life was marked by his unwavering faith as a man of God. He lived with integrity and kindness, embodying the values he held dear. A skilled Master Carpenter, Ralph dedicated his life to the art of woodworking, spending countless hours in his garage crafting beautiful pieces and contributing to the construction and remodeling of churches. Though retired, he never ceased to offer his talents, always ready to lend a hand.
A longstanding member of Life Church in Dallas, Ralph was not only a Charter Member but also served faithfully as an Elder for many years. His commitment to his faith and service to the church was an inspiration to all who knew him.
Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, Evelyn Hamill, children, Jeff, Kurt and his fiance' Shannon Chafin,and Brian Hamill; grandchildren, Justin, Jake, Anna, Rae, Madison, Emily, Wyatt, Austin, Amber and Skylar Hamill; great-grandchildren; Devin and Shayla Brown, Cameron Jones, Braydin Lazor, Alexis and Sophia Hamill as well as a loving extended family. He is also survived by siblings, Loyd Hamill, James Hamill and Phyllis Mullin. His legacy of love and dedication will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by a sister, Carolyn Hamill.
Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance, sharing stories and honoring his legacy of faith, craftsmanship, and love.Ralph Lee Hamill will be dearly missed, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives he touched.
