With solemn hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Ralph (Jerry) Harris, age 90 on May 16, 2025, in Cleveland, TN. Jerry was born in Beaver, Ohio on November 6, 1934, to parents Rev. Ralph Harris and Flora Harris.
He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Janet Conley Harris; sister Eileen Shoemaker; brothers Larry Harris and Willard Harris; nephews Willard Lee Harris and Jeff Shoemaker; niece Marla Shoemaker.
Survived by sister, Betty Perez (Jorge) and many nephews and nieces.
Jerry was a graduate of Waverly High School and attended Columbus Ohio Business School. He worked for Westinghouse in Columbus for many years.
He served the Army, Fort Bragg, North Carolina and was a true Veteran. He wore his Veteran hat proudly.
He lived most of his life in Florida and the last 7 years in Ocoee, TN.
Jerry's presence will be deeply missed by friends and family.
