Ralph Lynch, 76, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2024. Ralph was born on October 22, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William "W.D." Lynch and Dolores Huckleberry.
A graduate of Westport High School and Western Kentucky University, he enjoyed a successful career in sales, owning a home improvement business for many years. Direct with words and feisty in his ways, Ralph had a strong spirit. He was prompt, well-dressed, quick-witted, and laughed until he cried. He enjoyed golf with friends, countless travels to his Florida home and anywhere else warm and sunny, and the comradery he shared with many at Woodhaven Country Club, the Elks Lodge, and Kern's Korner. His highlight of each week, however, was Friday night dates with his wife Kathy.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Kathy (Sainlar) Lynch, his daughter Amy Gadansky (Joe-deceased), his stepson Kevin Thompson (Karen), and his four grandchildren, Sophia and Emma Gadansky, and Alex and Adam Thompson.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY 40205 with a Celebration of Life at 1 pm, also at Highlands. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Louisville, KY.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hosparus.
The family would like to thank all of the caregivers at Hosparus who cared for him in his final days.
