Ralph Pungercar

Ralph R. Pungercar, born in Sheboygan, WI on August 13, 1936, was a compassionate and humble soul who touched the hearts of many with his thoughtful nature. He was known for his remarkable intelligence, as evident in his successful career as an Electrical Engineer. He graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering. His love for his family was unparalleled and he was a pillar of support for his children and grandchildren. Ralph was a man of deep faith, and a devout member of St. Rita's Catholic Church. His journey on earth came to a peaceful close on October 20, 2025, in Rockton, Illinois.
Ralph's loving nature stemmed from his belief in the words of the Bible verse, Matthew 7:12, "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you." This verse was not just a saying for Ralph; it was a way of life. He was a man of great humility, always ready to lend a helping hand and never one to boast about his accomplishments. In his leisure time, Ralph enjoyed golf, finding peace and tranquility in the sport. His dedication to family and faith, his love for golf, and his humble, compassionate nature formed the cornerstone of Ralph's life, making him a beacon of light in the lives of those he touched.
Ralph is survived by his loving daughter, Diane (Thomas) Fishe, and son, Mark (Darene) Pungercar. His grandchildren, Lindsey (Michael) Rubino, Haven (Ethan) Barley, and Miranda Fishe, will forever cherish their fond memories of their doting grandfather. His great-grandchildren, Christian, Annelise, Harry, Mason, Millie, and Tilly, will hear stories of their great-grandfather's kindness and wisdom. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna Pungercar, and his siblings, Marion Pragalz, Frank Pungercar and Roger Pungercar.
