Ralph Simmons Obituary

Ralph built a life rooted in family, love, laughter and hard work. Born December 6, 1955 in Wilmington, DE to the late John and Ada Simmons. He was a welder fabricator and established his own business for over 30 years. He was supportive, loved joking around and willing to help others. Ralph's greated joy was his family; his two children and nine grandchildren who affectionally called his Pop pop.
Ralph a.k.a Butch is survived by his wife, Violet, his two children, Ralph Simmons, Jr. and Patricia A. Simmons, nine grandchildren: Sydney A. Simmons, Destiny A. Simmons, Cole W. Simmons, Aliyah N. Simmons, Luther V. Mosely, Jr., Helena J. Simmons, Jah'Laya J. Tolson, Jaz'Mira A. Tolson, and Aurora M. Simmons. He has four sisters and two brothers remaining and multiple nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Ralph's life will be held on December 7, 2025 from the hours of 12:00 - 4:00 PM at the Kenton Ruritan Club, 249 Main Street, Kenton, DE 19955. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations towards the funeral expenses. Please contact Violet at (302) 505-4544.
