Ralphine Patrina Spight was born March 5,1966 to the late Bessie Beatrice Spight and Ralph Comer. Trini was the mother of 2 sons and a special godson and a loving grandmother. Trini adopted the name Bahirah in her teens. Trini (Bahirah) was a beloved sister and never met anyone who wasn't a friend.
Ralphine attended Broadway Elementary, Vailsburg High School of Newark, NJ, then she was transferred to East Orange High School of East Orange, NJ. She was in the Class of 1986.
Ralphine was preceded in death by both parent Bessie Spight and Ralph Comer, both godparents Rosa Lee and John Harris, one brother Kenneth Ford, and two sisters Called Spight and Lois Spight.
Trini leaves to mourn 2 sons Avery K Spight of Newark, NJ and Qushan Brown, her Beloved CAT of Newark, NJ, her sons' fathers Avery Drew and James (Chucky) Brown, and 2 grandchildren Amarii Spight and Azorey Elam of East Orange, NJ. Trini also leaves to mourn her siblings and their kids: Jerry Manias (Shareese, Shanell, Sharell, Janae, Janese, Jerry, & Robert) of Newark, NJ Erin Ford of Rahway, NJ, Avery of Hillside, NJ, Thyrecia Spight of Riverdale, GA (Keith Jr. & Kelley) and Keesha Spight (Tawan &Tryee), children of Lois (Keyonnia, Bahirah and Salaama), oldest niece (Tabatha), loving god sisters Rhonda and Beatrice Ann of Irvington, NJ and Katherine Johnson of Rocky Mount, NC, one godson Branden Lawson of Newark, NJ, 2 brothers-in-law Edward Jones and her closest Keith Oden Sr., 2 best friends Cherie Frazier and Berlisa Garvin-Bryan, and a host of family and friends.
Bahirah will be remembered as the long winded (TALKER) of the family. Her style for dressing and fresh haircuts will always be remembered. She had a personality that was different from all the sisters growing up, she was the laid back one.
