It is with heavy hearts that we announce the much too soon passing of Ramiro Martinez Jr., beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, just a few days before his 42nd birthday. Born on October 28th 1983 in Nogales, AZ to Elvia Santa-Maria Martinez and Ramiro Martinez Silva, he was the youngest of five. He was a kind-spirited soul that brought endless joy, smiles, laughter, and deep conversations to anyone who had the fortune of meeting him.
Ramiro will be remembered by many for his shining personality and kindness that had no bounds. He loved all things that were odd and weird, but his passion for those things was infectious and you could not help but to think they were interesting too. Ramiro especially loved the band Deftones, and iconic movies like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. Most of all he loved his family and loved ones, always one to think of you whenever he saw something that reminded him of you, no matter how small.
Ramiro is survived by his mother Elvia, his stepfather Nacho, older siblings Francisco “Pancho,” Angie and Joe, and his nieces Denise, Johanna, Jessica, and Josselyn. He will be dearly missed, but he will forever hold a piece of all our hearts.
May he rest in eternal peace.
