Ramiro A. Quezada Gamez “Pancho” age 28, a resident of El Prado, passed away August 23, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Pedro Gamez Dominguez; grandmother Eva Alvarez Paredes; great-grandpa Gilbert Quezada Gonzalez and great-grandma Ramona Rodriguez Rivas.
Ramiro was passionate about racing, he enjoyed the excitement of driving his truck, which he proudly called Blue Demon. He loved playing softball, fishing, camping and swimming. Ramiro was employed by La Tierra Landscaping, Metric Motors, Northern Paving and was a member of the Pa La Raza Softball team. He was a very hard worker and always fulfilled his goals. Ramiro was a dedicated son, a protective brother, a brave young man in all circumstances. Ramiro was a joker by nature and also a faithful friend who always knew how to be present for others.
He is survived by his mother Maria De Lourdes Gamez Baca (Eduardo); father Ramiro Quezada Alvarez (Loretta); brother Angel Gabriel Gamez Baca; sister Eva G. Quezada Gamez; aunt Clara Quezada Alvarez (Juan); cousins Erika Quezada Alvarez and Yolissa Rodriguez Quezada; step-sister Norie Cordova (Manuel), step-brother Miguel Gallegos (Emma) and step-sister Fernanda Gallegos (Jorge).
Visitation will be held on Friday September 5, 2025 from 4-6pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. He will be laid to rest in his hometown in Mexico.
