Ramiro Rubio, 90, resident of Dickinson, Texas passed into eternal life April 7, 2025 In Houston, Texas. He was born June 14, 1934 in Seguin, Texas to proud parents Pedro and Julia Rubio.
He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Ramiro's career working for the City of Friendswood as a foreman with the water department was a great source of pride as he was a dedicated and respected employee for 30 years. He loved being around family and friends, traveling and living life to the fullest. However, his greatest source of pride was in his grandchildren and his unlimited love that he shared with them.
Ramiro was preceded in death by his parents, the love of his life his wife Lucina Rubio; son, Juan Rubio; sisters Brigida "Tomasa", Ramona, Delma, Gregoria, and Petra; brothers, Primitibo, and Domingo.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories, daughter, Lisa Davis and husband, Joseph; son, Jesus Ramiro Rubio; sister, Julia; brothers, Catarino "Bore", Conrado "Willie" and Puoquinto "Quinto" Rubio; grandchildren, Jacquelin, Jasmin and Jesus Ramiro, Jr.; Seally and Savanna Davis as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family friends.
In his honor a visitation will be held on Friday April 11, 2025 from 5:30 – 8:00pm with a rosary at 7:30pm in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas with a funeral service on Saturday April 12, 2025 at 10:00am in the same location. Interment will follow immediately at Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson, Texas.
