With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of Ramon Antonio Bustillo Jr., lovingly known as "Boo Boo" to his family and close friends. Born on November 11, 1998, Ramon was a bright light whose love for people and music touched everyone who knew him.

Ramon's passion for singing began at an early age. The first song he ever learned was, "Jesus Loves Me." At just two years old, he would sing "Trading My Sorrows" at church, pumping his fist in the air, singing "Yes Lord, Yes Lord, Yes, Yes Lord." His love for the Lord was pure and unwavering. In recent years, he found a renewed connection to his faith, falling in love with the Bible and worship music, often sharing those moments of praise alongside his mom.

Music was at the heart of who Ramon was. As a child, he wrote and performed his own rap music with the help of his uncle Jimmy. In high school, he was in the advanced choir and also won first place in the Longmont Idol singing competition. He also formed his own group called "Broken Wings" where they performed locally. After high school, he joined the hip hop group, Indigenous Peoples where he performed with his uncle and two other close family friends. Through this connection, he had the privilege of working with famous artist Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs and Harmony. During the last year of his life, he began to sing for the Lord by joining his church's young-adult praise team. His love for worship music became his passion.

In addition to his passion for music, Ramon shared a sweet bond with his loyal dog Dotty and inherited his love for the Denver Nuggets from his mom who has always cheered them on. Ramon and his two sisters became even bigger fans as they grew up together.

During the past year, he found a wonderful job as an arborist with a fellow brother in Christ, Casey Baltzell. He loved his job and valued learning how to work hard and to be disciplined.

Those who knew Ramon will remember his heart of gold. He would do anything for those around him. His kindness, humor, and loyalty made him someone people could always count on. Above all, his greatest joy in life was being a big brother to his sisters and a guiding, protective cousin to the many young ones who looked up to him.

Ramon is survived by his loving sisters, Gabriela Bustillo, Kennia Corea-Macias and Tiffany Howard, stepbrother Juan Ponce, his devoted parents: mother Alecia Gisi and stepfather Kenneth Gisi, father Ramon Bustillo Sr. and stepmother Melany Bustillo. He is also survived by his beloved grandparents Pamela and James Macias (Mammah and Papah), and his grandmother Lorenza Nuñez in Honduras, who all cherished him deeply. He is further survived by his aunts and uncles; Malia and Jeremy Hockemeyer, Amelia (Millie) and Nick Moritz, Jimmy and Jackie Macias, Mario Nuñez and a large extended family of cousins who will forever hold him in their hearts. Ramon will also be lovingly remembered by his girlfriend Makayla Martinez who shared in his dreams, laughter, and faith.

Ramon's faith, music, and love for others will forever echo in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. Though he has gone home to be with the Lord, his light will never fade from those who carry his memory forward. Forever in our hearts, until we meet again.

Ramon's viewing will be held Friday, November 14th, 2025, from 4-6 p.m. at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home in Longmont, Colorado.
