Ramon O. Martinez

United in life, and reunited in eternity on the same date, six years apart. Ramon O. Martinez, 90, passed away on January 17, 2026 in Hialeah, Florida. A bond with his wife Dora R. Martinez was unbroken by time with Ramon joining Dora on the anniversary of her passing, January 17, 2020. Ramon was born on July 27, 1935 in Cuba where he met and married Dora. They were married for over 50 years at the time of Dora's passing. Ramon worked as a Maintenance worker in a nursing home alongside Dora for many years. Ramon was loved by all who knew him and was an excellent dominoes player being called "Campeon" by those that played with him. Ramon was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Ramon is survived by two children: Madeline E. Martinez and Marcos E. Martinez, five grandchildren: Jasmine M. Padilla, Javier M. Padilla, Aidan A. Cosme, Mireya E. Martinez, and Marcos E. Martinez, and one grandson: Felix S. Leonardo. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Funeraria Memorial Plan San Jose, 4850 Palm Avenue, Hialeah, Florida 33012. Ramon and Dora are together again in a beautiful, final, intentional act of love.
