Ramona Belen

Ramona Belen was born on April 9, 1931 in Anasco, Puerto Rico to Jose and Elise Soto. Ramona resided in Detroit, Michigan, she passed away on March 21, 2026 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Carlos Belen. Loving mother of Elizabeth (Rocco) Ambrose, Evelyn Belen Moore, Nancy (Rock) Abboud, Carlos Belen and Ramona (Larry) Cosme. Dearest grandmother of Tonya, William, Paul, José, David, Antonio, Ramona, Ryan, Amber, Carlos, and Emelia. Loving great-grandmother of Willis, Tyler, Jason, Jordan, Nya, Zoe, Layla, Finley, José, Paul, Michael, and Briseis. Beloved great-great-grandmother of Brayden, Nahlani, and Kato. Dear sister of Milagro, Manuel, Consuelo, Henogelia, Estrella, Ida, and Antonio. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose and Elise Soto and her siblings Wilfredo, Maria, Jose, Amparo, Flor, and Mario. Ramona is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Visitation Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 2:00- 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary 6:00 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road. (313) 278-5100. In state Friday 9:30 a.m. with a 10:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection to follow at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1050 Porter St, Detroit. Interment St. Hedwig Cemetery.
