Ramona "Mona" Lee Bowles
January 29, 1957– August 13, 2025
Ramona "Mona" Lee Bowles, 68, of South Point, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in the ICU at KDMC, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on January 29, 1957, in South Point, Ohio, Mona was the daughter of the late Walter and Juanita Dickerson. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Walter Jr. George,Raleigh, Gene, Billy Ray, and Betty.
Mona is survived by her husband, Robert; her three children, Scott, Sean, and Jon; her treasured grandchildren, Harper and Hennie, who brought her endless joy; and a special niece, Taylor Jewel. She also leaves behind a large extended family and countless friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Mona had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. She never met a stranger and could light up any room with her laughter and vibrant voice. Known for her generosity and kindness, she would help anyone in need-often without hesitation. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering love made her truly irreplaceable.
Though the world feels a little less bright without her, we take comfort in knowing we will see her again one day. Until then, we will hold tightly to the memories we shared and the love she gave so freely.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Wallace Family Funeral Home in South Point, Ohio. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., with the service following at 4:00 p.m., led by Pastor Jeff Boatright.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the KDMC ICU staff for the exceptional care and compassion shown to our precious Mona during her final days. Wallace Family Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.wallaceffh.com.
