Ramona Grace Kleber

Ramona Grace (Helt) Kleber, 95, of Scipio passed away on March 14, 2025, at Covered Bridge Health Campus. Ramona was born on April 22, 1929, in Reddington Township in Jackson County. She was a graduate of Shields High School. On September 11, 1948, she married her husband, Burton at Reddington Christian Church. She was a member of Reddington Christian Church and the Missionary Women's Society. Ramona retired as a home health aide from Visiting Nurses and was an organist for Reddington Christian Church for many years. She enjoyed camping and traveling in the RV and belonged to a camping group. Ramona was a member of: Sweet Adeline's Barbershop Group, Jennings County Homemaker's Club, where she represented Jennings County at the state fair in sewing and modeling for many years. She enjoyed quilting in later life.
Ramona is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Melvin) Vogel; grandchildren: Vincent Vogel, Donna Vojkufka, Kenneth Kleber and Sara Kleber-Lowery; great grandchildren: Colton Vogel, Hattie Vogel, Carol Vojkufka, Joseph Vojkufka, Addyson Vojkufka, Kohen Kleber and Gabriel Dixon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Burton, son, George Kleber, granddaughter Martha Vogel and brother, Scoville Helt.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Voss & Sons Funeral and Cremation Service, 316 North Chestnut Street, Seymour, IN. Immediately following the funeral services, Ramona will be laid to rest at Reddington Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Martha Vogel Scholarship in care of the Jennings County Foundation (Hayden Museum) or to the Reddington Cemetery Association.
