Ramona Langan Obituary
Ramona was born on November 13, 1938, in Logan County, WV, to the late Roman Birchwell and Louise Smith. In addition to her parents, Ramona is preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley Mazetis and Bobby Birchwell, and sister, Joyce Nichols.
Ramona is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Langan; son, Kenneth Langan; daughters, Diane DeRienzis (Richard) and Debra Bailey (David); sister, Penny Burger; grandchildren, Amanda (Lyle), Nicholas (Annkate), April (Kimberly), Marissa, Savannah, James (Ruth), Samantha (Jacob), Jacob (Jacy), and Kyle; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Lucas, August, and Eleanor. Ramona was a member of the Red Hat Society and a volunteer at Gateway and Tennova Hospitals in Clarksville.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. Lisa Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, September 5, 2025 and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the service hour. Burial will follow service at Greenwood Cemetery.
