OCALA, FL - Ramona Sue (Spooner) Miller, age 82, of Ocala, FL, passed away peacefully in Barre, VT on August 13, 2025. Born in Fayston VT in 1942, Ramona was the 5th of 14 children born to Alonzo and June Spooner. She was a graduate of Bradford Academy and Franklin Pierce College. Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, she will be remembered for her bright personality and love of travel, fun and family. Ramona is survived by her daughter, Veronica Austin, grandchildren, Seth Austin, Kylie Korth, Keaton Austin, great-grandchildren, Jade Austin, Madison Honeycutt, Lucy Honeycutt, Nolan Korth, Ollie Korth and siblings, Patricia Johnson, James Spooner, Linda Riddell, Victoria Cameron, Rebecca Spooner, Anthony Spooner, Maureen Abare and Thomas Spooner. She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 siblings and her son, Donald (Rus) E. Miller, Jr. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am on October 4th, 2025, at the Waits River Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories and celebrate a life well lived. In recognition of Ramona's love of family, particularly the little ones, please consider a donation to St. Jude’s Hospital, Make-A-Wish Foundation or Habitat for Humanity in her memory, in lieu of flowers. Ramona will be deeply missed and forever loved. Arrangements are in the care of Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, 58 Summer St. in Barre.
