Ramona A. Perez 90, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022. Ramona was born in Presidio, Texas on July 2, 1932. She graduated from Presidio High School. She then met and fell in love with her husband and married in 1954, Lucio.
Ramona was a devoted housewife all her life and raised 5 beautiful children. She was a devoted catholic and had a strong faith. She loved to watch and cheer on her favorite team the Dallas Cowboys. She was also very active in the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW and had many friends. She was also known for her contagious smile and happy demeanor. She will greatly be missed.
Ramona is proceeded in death by her husband, Lucio O. Perez. She leaves behind her children Jesse M. Perez, Olga Suriano, Felipe A. Perez, JR Perez and Linda Salas along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and many close friends.
Visitation Services for Ramona will be on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 4pm-8pm with a rosary at 6pm at Sunset Funeral Home – East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 9:30 am at St. Mark Catholic Church, 11700 Pebble Hills.
Interment to follow at 11 am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
