Ramona K Quinones, affectionately known as Mona or Monchie by her family, passed peacefully on August 21, 2025, at the age of 47. Mona was a devoted mother of three, a cherished daughter, the youngest sister of three, a beloved aunt, and a loving wife. Her soul was filled with an abundance of love.

She is survived by her partner Larry Higgins; her sons, Tony Jesus Aviles and Jose Luis Espinoza; her daughter, Gabriella Rene Murray; her parents, Crispin G and Hilaria Christine Quinones; her brother and sister-in-law, Doug & Akiko; her sister, Tina Sholes; her 11 grandchildren, 2 nephews, and 1 niece.

Mona was a simple and private person known for her loud, boisterous laughter and sense of humor. She loved being silly but more than anything else, she loved her family. Mona was so proud of her children and their families. She loved sitting outside and watching the stars with Larry and Gabriella. She loved baking Pineapple Upside down cakes and making enchiladas for her daddy, who affectionately called her Midget. She would call her mom Mama, never mom. She loved watching butterflies and meteor showers. She enjoyed observing wildlife, especially the red tail hawks and cotton tails, which she fondly referred to as fluffy butts. Watching quail run always made her laugh. She loved to cook but wasn't really into cleaning up afterwards. She loved to sing along with the music on the radio and especially enjoyed singing along with music videos.

She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit. Her memory continues to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest peacefully.
