Ramona Palomo Salinas

Ramona Palomo Salinas, age 75, passed away at home on January 13, 2026. She was born on April 2, 1950, in Laredo, Texas, to Brigido and Juana Palomo. She traveled throughout the United States with her family for work as farm laborers.

She was a devoted mother and sister who dedicated her life to her family. Ramona was known for her kindness, strength, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She always knew the right thing to say and how to help, making life look easy and doing so with effortless grace.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Gomez, son-in-law, Vincent Gomez, her partner, Pedro Ramos; as well as her siblings, nephews, and nieces.

Ramona will be remembered for her amazing advice, good cooking, love of gardening, kindness, warmth and her fondness for Pepsi. Her love and presence will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Parkview Mortuary, 315 South Lexington Street, Delano, California. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Parish, 916 Lexington Street, Delano, California, with interment at 1:00 p.m. at North Kern Cemetery District, 627 Austin Street, Delano, California.
