Ramona Thompson Obituary
Ramona Elaine Thompson, 82, of Beckley, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024, at Bowers Hospice House.
Born November 28, 1941, in Winter Harbor, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Catherine Jacobs.
Ramona was a former waitress at the WV Turnpike Glass House, Holiday Inn and Miss Alice’s. She enjoyed antiquing, traveling, yard sales, pottery, gambling and classic country music.
Survivors include sons, Richard and wife DeeAnn, Jeffrey and wife Clara; grandchildren, Brandy, Cassandra, Jonathon, Cambrea and Kyle; sister, Muriel Kilton; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Fogel; best friend for life, Colleen Izzo; special little friend, Emrie Richardson and her work family from Miss Alice’s.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2024 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
