We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ramona J Waldstein. Who was born on July 7th, 1954, in Sioux Rapids, Iowa.
Ramona was the daughter of Harold Ness and Margaret Arnts Ness. She was married to Kyle Waldstein in 1972, and together they had two children, Travis Waldstein (Amy) and Joni Waldstein.
Ramona was also a proud grandmother of 4 grandchildren; Jacilyn Waldstein, Harley, Hayden and Hunter Waldstein. Also, she has 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Paul Ness. She is survived by her children, Stepbrother Steve McMichael of Mishawaka, IN, Marty McMichael of Springhill Florida, Lester Ness of St. Anthony, Idaho, Mary Ward (Wade) of Sugar City, Idaho, Rosie Patterson (Todd) of Tallahassee, Florida, Alice Skelton (Harold) of Webb; many other relatives and friends.
Ramona attended Rembrandt consolidated School. She continued her education at Buena Vista College, ultimately earning a master's degree in education and guidance. She was passionate about her work and dedicated to helping others.
In her free time Ramona enjoyed sewing, antiquing, and reading. She had a creative spirit and had a love for learning new things. Her kind heart and warm smile will be deeply missed. Ramona leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. She will be dearly missed by her; family, friends, and all that knew her. A graveside burial is planned for July 6th @11:00am at the Little Sioux Valley Cemetery in Rembrandt, Iowa; a luncheon to follow at the Lutheran Church in Rembrandt, Iowa. All welcome to reminisce, remember, and celebrate the life of Ramona J. Waldstein.
