Ramona Wilson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Dec. 30, 2025.
Ramona Arminta Lee Wilson, age 95, passed away peacefully in her home in Willard, Missouri on December 21, 2025.

Ramona was born to Walter Mack and Elsie Mack on January 1, 1930 in Springfield, Missouri.

On October 27, 1946, Monie was united in marriage to Albert Jay Wilson in Springfield, Missouri. Albert served in the Air Force and after living in Texas, Virginia, and Illinois, they returned home to Springfield.

In 1966 they moved to their home in Willard, Missouri, where they enjoyed their lives together with family and friends.

Most of her days were spent by baking and cooking, as their home was THE place to gather. They welcomed everyone to their home.

Monie definitely had a green thumb. She always had beautiful plants and flowers around her yard. They had a big garden and she also enjoyed canning vegetables.

She enjoyed watching cooking shows and the Kansas City Chiefs, but loved her St. Louis Cardinals. She rarely missed watching or listening to the games.

Monie loved Jesus and kept a bible on her table.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert, two sisters Tillie and Joan. Three sons, Timothy (stillborn child), Jay and Matthew, one brother Walter "Boots", six sister in-laws Ann, Bernice "Vi", Mae, Pauline, Ester, and Freda as well as Kathy (Robin's better half).

She is survived by a daughter Robin Wilson of Monett, Missouri, son Raymond "Boots" Wilson (Kay) of Strafford, Missouri. Brother Jessie "Punteye" Mack (Lula Mae) of Springfield, Missouri. Daughter in laws Louise (wife of Jay) of Columbus, Ohio, and Janice (wife of Matt) of Buffalo, Missouri.

Monie had twelve grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, twenty one great-great-grandchildren, and many loved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rescue One Animal Rescue at 2000 S. Stewart Avenue, Springfield, MO 65804
