In Loving Memory of Ramsey "Ramze" Barton
Ramsey "Ramze" Barton, aged 25, of Denver, transitioned to eternal peace on October 29, 2023, in Denver, Colorado. Born on April 8, 1998, in Hammond, Louisiana, she was the cherished daughter of Thomas Barton and Jessica (Means) Britt.
During her youth, Ramze experienced diverse cultures and environments as her family relocated often. This journey led her to Valdez High School in Valdez, Alaska, where she completed her education. With a thirst for knowledge, Ramze further pursued her studies through online college courses.
Known for her impeccable sense of style, Ramze had a penchant for shopping and a flair for the latest fashion trends. Her love for glamour was evident in her tasteful choice of makeup and attire. Yet, beyond the glitz and glamour, she had a profound love for nature, particularly the mountains. However, the true cornerstone of her life was her family. She cherished every moment with her beloved daughter, Marlee, who was the center of her universe.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, remembered by her daughter, Marlee; parents, Tom (Emily) Barton and Jessica (Ryan) Britt; siblings, Jordan Turvey and Elijah Barton; and grandparents, Steve (Susan) Means, Paula Whittle, Mike (Sue) Britt and Mark (Cheryl) Simmons. Her memory will also be carried forward by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and all those whose lives she touched.
Ramze reunites in the afterlife with her great-grandparents, Ben and Joyce Means.
A Catholic Mass in honor of Ramze will be celebrated at 9:30 am, Tuesday, November 7, at The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, located at 1530 Logan Street in Denver.
