Randall "Randy" Boyer, born on January 13, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away suddenly on January 9, 2026. He was a graduate of Patterson Co-Op High School, Class of 1971. Randy served his country honorably in the United States Marines, a testament to his commitment and dedication.
Described as quiet and artistic, Randy had a unique way of expressing himself, often through his creative endeavors. He had an array of hobbies and interests that brought him joy, particularly roller skating, drinking Pepsi, and enjoying peppermint patties. These simple pleasures defined his approach to life, reflecting a character that cherished both sweet moments and wholesome fun.
Randy is survived by his loving family, including his sister, Jenny Alexander, and sister-in-law, Beverly Boyer. He also leaves behind nephews Matthew Alexander and Jeremy Boyer, as well as niece Charity Boyer, along with several other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Polly Boyer, and brothers Ronald and Gerald Boyer. Randy's memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, as they remember a man who lived life with a quiet strength and an artistic spirit.
Randy will be laid to rest with military honors at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Dayton National Cemetery.
