RANDALL LEIGH HOWELL

1955 - 2026

Randall Leigh Howell, 71, of Galeton, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at UPMC Williamsport. Born February 2, 1955, in Blossburg, he was the son of the late Leigh B. Howell and Frances I. (Schultz) McCullen.
Randall spent a lot of time at the speedway and dirt track, watching the race cars, but his passion was music, playing guitar and writing songs. One of his biggest accomplishments was his published album "Poor Boy" in March of 2025.
He is survived by his children, Randall L. Howell Jr. of Harrison Valley, Teressa M. (Ryan) Howell of Columbia Crossroads, Rendale Howell of Lakeland, Fla., Chad Howell of Westfield and Ryan Spicer of Colorado; grandchildren, Chad Howell Jr., Cole and Waylen Austin and Ava Austin; his siblings, Shelly Putman, Sandra McCullen, Sharon McCullen, Jerry McCullen and Hervey Howell and many friends and family in the racing and music communities.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dale E. Howell.
Family will receive friends at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St., Westfield on Wednesday, March 11, from 12 – 2 p.m. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 2 p.m. with Pastor Tim Miller officiating. Burial will be in Champlin Cemetery.
