Randall "Randy" George Lovins, 66, of Finley, TN, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 in Panama City Beach, FL.
Born on March 8, 1959, in Dyersburg, TN, he was the beloved son of the late Alva George "Bud" Lovins and Louise Hopper Lovins. Randy dedicated 28 years of his career at Boss Hoss Cycles and was a former employee of Colonial Rubber. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. When his sons were younger, Randy was deeply involved in their dirt bike and four-wheeler racing, ensuring their bikes were in top condition and driving them to competitions. He cherished traveling with his family to watch his grandchildren play football and baseball, creating lasting memories with them.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Ellingsworth officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The Lovins Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sherry Lovins of Finley, TN; two sons, Keith Lovins and Greg Lovins (Alana), all of Dyersburg, TN; twin sisters, Jean Nolen (Larry) of Dyersburg, TN and Joan Spencer (Paul) of Medina, TN; was "RanRan" to four grandchildren, Brady Lovins, Genevieve Lovins, Evan Lovins and Caroline Lovins, all of Dyersburg, TN; his mother-in-law, Ann Johnson of Finley, TN; his three sisters-in-law, Shana Junior (Greg) of Finley, TN and twins, Jean Manning (Ritchie) of Halls, TN and Joan Brewer (David) of Dyersburg, TN; and was Uncle Randy to many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Burns.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joel Goff, Joseph Hardin, Rusty Essary, Andrew Manning, Garrett Brewer and Ryan Fisher.
