Randall J. Sachtjen

Randall J. Sachtjen, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2024. Randy was born in Madison, Wisconsin. He joined the Navy right out of high school in 1965 and sailed around the world on the USS Yorktown. Randy met the love of his life, Jann, while in the service and they went on to spend the next 55 years together. Randy had many memorable accomplishments in his 77 years – he pitched a no hitter, bowled a 300 game and got 2 hole-in-ones. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, softball and watching the Brewers and Packers. He is survived by his son Edward, daughter Jamie (Jesse) and 3 grandchildren Jordyn, Jeven and Madyson. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Jann Sachtjen (Johnson) his mother, father, sister, brother, and in-laws.
