Randall "Doc" Stephens, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was born on June 27, 1962, in Vero Beach, Florida. He passed away peacefully at his home on January 3, 2025, surrounded by his cherished family.
Doc was a lifelong resident of Ft. Pierce. He enjoyed riding bulls in the high school rodeo circuit. As an adult he spent 20 years serving his community at Chip’s Auto Glass as a trusted installer, but it was his role as a family man that truly defined his legacy.
Doc's life journey was often colored by his loving and kind spirit, leaving a profound impact on all who had the privilege to know him. Since Doc was a man of few words, he will be remembered for putting others before himself, without judgment. Doc had many friends and was known among them for always being ready to have a good time.
Doc was always eager to take his family on vacation. He especially cherished family fishing trips to the Bahamas. He also enjoyed golfing with his friends.
Doc will be deeply missed by his family – high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 42 years, Betty, brothers, Bruce (Sharon) of Ft. Pierce, FL, Eddie of Perry, GA, Tommy of Perry, GA and sister, Karen (Kent) also of Perry, GA and his brother from another mother, Mark Pfister, who take solace in the knowledge that his spirit lives on in them.
Doc considered his family his greatest accomplishment. He was a proud father to daughters Mandy Price of Jensen Beach, FL, Holly (Luke) Brolmann, and Raeann (Tyler) Logsdon, both of Ft. Pierce, FL. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His adoration extended to his grandchildren—Zane Price, John Luke Brolmann, Jack Brolmann, Coleman Logsdon, and Thomas Logsdon—who brought immense joy and pride to Doc's life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Koger, his mother, Pauline Koger, and his brother, Mike Stephens, along with beloved son-in-law Patrick Price. In remembering Randall "Doc" Stephens, let us celebrate a life filled with love, dedication, and unforgettable memories.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in honor of Doc on January 9, 2025, at Saint Anastasia Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, Florida, starting at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
Memories and condolences can be left on the obituary at the funeral home website.
