Randy was born March 17, 1963, in Zeeland, Michigan, to Floyd & Joyce (Peters) Walters. He attended Zeeland Christian School, and graduated from Holland Christian High School in 1981. Randy worked his entire career for Walters Gardens. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Randy was a man of strong faith. He was a member for many years of Bethel CRC in Zeeland where he served as a deacon. Randy has been a member in the last 10 years at Fellowship Reformed Church of Hudsonville. He was also a member of the Safari Club International, the NRA.
He is survived by his brothers: Arlan and Lorna Walters, Keith and Konie Walters, nieces & nephews and their families: Jonathan & Lisa Walters (Weston, Rhett), Joel and Michelle Walters (Braden, Derek, Natalie), Joshua & Amy Walters (Vanessa, Clayton, Christian), Jillyssa & Casey Wesseldyke (Kennedi, Karli), Anna & Nick Rillema (Colton, Chet), Rachel & Randy Palmbos (Abel, Silas), Julie and Bob Dykstra; many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 27, 2024, at Fellowship Reformed Church, 6610 36th Ave., Hudsonville MI 49426. Visiting hours will be 5:30-8:00 pm, Thursday, December 26, also at Fellowship Reformed Church. Interment will be in Blendon Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Love INC.

I got to know Randy because he first was a member of Fellowship but we shared a special journey together. I also have cancer and had a stem cell transplant. We talked a lot about our treatments and what he was going through. I was shocked to hear of his passing but know that we shared the same faith and he is not in pain anymore. Joan Roosien.
