Randall Walters passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, at Medilodge of Portage, with his daughter Abagael by his side. Born on February 12, 1960, in Butler, Pennsylvania, Randall lived a life defined by kindness, humility, and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew him.

He was, in every sense, a gentleman. Randall held doors open, surprised loved ones with flowers, and carried an effortless sense of style; remarkable for a man who was colorblind, yet somehow always knew exactly what looked good. He was the only one trusted to pick out sunglasses, and he did so with confidence and charm.

Randall had a deep admiration for trees and the natural world. He knew their names, their stories, and their beauty. His two favorites; the mimosa and the weeping cherry; reflected his own spirit: vibrant, graceful, and rooted. His love for nature carried into his work, and he took immense pride in his business, Walters Tree Service, where he poured his heart, skill, and integrity into every job.

He was a devoted father who never missed an opportunity to brag about his children. Randall is survived by his children: Alicia Walters, Randall Walters Jr., Ryan Burdleson, and Abagael Walters; his stepdaughter Amber Meyer; and his siblings Renee Walters, Raymond Walters, and Bonnie Walters. He leaves behind a large and deeply loved group of grandchildren: Codee Young, Isabella Young, Morgan Fox, Maria Fox, Austin Walters, Avery Walters, and Jade Walters, as well as Amber’s children, Skielynn Snodderly and Mayson Snodderly, whom he cared for with the same warmth and pride. And in true Randall fashion, he lovingly considered his daughter’s dog, Winifred, to be one of his grandchildren as well.

Randall was preceded in death by his mother, Della Cade, his father, Ronald Walters, and his brothers Rodney Walters and Ronnie Walters. He is also remembered with love by his stepmother, Judy Walters.

Randall worked tirelessly throughout his life. Even on his days off, he found purpose in creating things with his hands; crafting chairs, stools, coat racks, and anything else his imagination shaped from wood. He loved Western movies, Jeopardy, and the peace of the outdoors. Whether kayaking, swimming, or camping, he felt most at home under the open sky.

He was full of random facts, the kind that made conversations brighter and moments more memorable. Though he never learned to read as a child, he taught himself later in life; not just for his own sake, but so he could teach his daughter. Together, they learned side by side, turning what could have been a barrier into a shared triumph and a cherished bond.

He lived with quiet dignity, steady devotion, and a love that showed itself in actions more than words. His legacy lives on in the trees he cared for, the things he built, the family he adored, and the countless small acts of kindness that defined his life.

Cremation has been entrusted to Family First Funeral & Cremation Services. No further services have been scheduled at this time.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever honored by those who were blessed to know him.
