With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Randall John Wilson, who left us peacefully on August 8, 2025, at the age of 61. Born in Cold Spring, NY and raised in Vermont, Randall carried the proud nickname of one of the "Wilson Triplets" - a title that brought him smiles and stories throughout his life.
Randall's journey was one of both remarkable talents and personal challenges. A skilled welder and pipe fitter, his work took him across the country, where he built not just projects, but friendships and memories. He had a deep love for golf, often encouraging friends and family to join him on the course. His competitive spirit and sense of humor shone brightest when he was sharing the game with others.
He made his home in Michigan in later years with his wife, Janice Wilson, whose companionship and care were constants through seasons of his life. Randall is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Myrtle Randall; paternal grandparents, Clifton (Kippy) and Pat Wilson; father, Clifton Wilson II; and by his mother-in-law and her husband, Gloria Burkett and Burt Houtman. He is survived by his wife Janice, his Mother Jean Pegg (Rodger) Wilson; his siblings, Clifton Wilson III and his children, Adam (Risé) Wilson, Kim (Scott) Ireland and their children, and Eugene (Laura) Wilson and their children; his children, Alexis Pomerleau, Terrence Pomerleau, Emma (Haris) Djozic, and Nicholas Wilson; as well as his grandchildren. He is also survived by his in laws, Tim (Jo Ann) Burkett, Bruce (Lori) Burkett, Tom (Linda) Burkett, and Kelly (Leslie) Burkett.
Those who knew Randall will remember a man whose life was real - filled with hard work, laughter, struggles, and moments of deep connection. His story, like all of ours, was imperfect, but it was uniquely his.
A celebration of Randall's life will be held on September 27, 2025 at 2:00pm at the home of his sister "Missy", 169 Westview Drive, Shelburne, VT. We hope friends and family will gather to share honest stories, warm memories, and perhaps a few golf tales that capture his true spirit.
"For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish by have eternal life." -John 3:16
