Randeen A. "Randy" Prem, age 83 of Spring Green, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Sauk Prairie Healthcare, joining her husband of 59 years. She was born on October 16, 1940 in Spring Green, WI the daughter of Almon and Catherine (Bonetti) Hook. Randy was married on September 5, 1960 to Anthony "Tony" Prem. She was a longtime member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Plain American Legion Auxiliary.
Randy's sense of humor was legendary, having had to keep up with the three men of her life, whose main mission seemed to be to keep her on her toes. Randy's life was filled with many journeys, from owning and operating The Shed Restaurant and Bar in Spring Green for over thirty years, to channeling her love into her family and friends. Her laughter, love and compassion she carried in her heart swept through everyone she met and interacted with.
On their houseboat along the Mississippi River in
De Soto, Wisconsin, Randy and Tony cherished the simply joy of watching the river's tranquil currents and casting lines for fishing, their love echoing the steady rhythm of the water as they shared moments of both stillness and excitement.
From her special lunches with her best friend in life, her sister, Lynn, to gambling trips with her friend Deb, she brought smiles to everyone. She built countless memories with great friends, namely Stan and Rosetta Bauer, whether playing cards or sitting quietly reminiscing. She also enjoyed many adventurous outings with her many sisters-in-law.
