Randy Benton, 54, of Clarkton, passed away on March 17, 2025, due to tragic circumstances . His sudden departure has left a profound void in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Randy was known for his remarkable sense of humor, which brought joy and laughter to all who crossed his path. He possessed a unique ability to brighten even the darkest of days with his wit and charm. This innate talent for making others smile will be fondly remembered by friends and family alike.
Randy is survived by his loving sisters: Jannie McRoberts (Alan), Barbara Canady (Woody), and Debbie Page (Eddie), along with many cherished nieces and nephews who will carry forward his legacy of joy. His familial bonds were a source of pride and strength throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester Lee Benton and Nancy Edwards Benton, whose guidance and love shaped him into the person he became. He is also mourned by his late siblings, Donna Brown and Johnny Benton, both of whom held an important place in his heart.
Randy's memory will continue to live on through the many lives he touched with his humor and warmth, reminding us all of the fleeting nature of life and the enduring impact of a kind spirit.
The family will receive friends from 7-9pm on Friday, March 28th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, March 29th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with Reverend Mitchell Britt officiating service. Burial will follow in the Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown.
