Randy James Brooks, 74, of Osceola, passed away Feb. 8, 2026.
He was born Sept. 25, 1951, in Elkhart to the late William James and Ervina Joette (Eby) Brooks and was a 1969 graduate of Elkhart High School.
On March 28, 1981, he married Christina Carteaux in Elkhart. She survives along with their children, William (Allison) Brooks and Carey (fiancé, Fernando Galarza) Brooks; seven grandchildren, Ethan, Alex, Julianna, Antoine "A.J.," Layla, Colleen "Cece" and Oliver; and his sister, Sharon LeCount.
He was the owner of Asphalt Driveways and also worked for many years with Arab and Kevin's Pest Control. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Green Bay Packers, Notre Dame football, and served as vice president of the Osceola Little League.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the noon service on Saturday, Feb. 21, at Cruz Family Funeral Home, Osceola, with burial at Prairie Street Cemetery.

My sympathy to Sharon and his family. We were childhood neighborhood friends, went to school together and the last time I saw him was at the United Labor Agency when he was doing our pest control. He was a friendly warm personable guy who enjoyed life and his family.
