Guest Book
The Bama van is officially off the streets as Mr. Randy Lawson Chapman, age 64, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 15 of 2025. He was surrounded by family with his loving wife by his side.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his father, David Chapman, and mother, Joann Bouldin; sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Gene Brumley; brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Gail Bouldin; and sister-in-law, Edna "Nicky" Bouldin.
Randy left behind his adoring wife, Dana, who thinks he hung the moon. Randy was her true Superman, and she loves him with her heart and soul. He is survived by his children: Travis (Shelly) Chapman, Aaron (Becca) Chapman, Cole (Jeslyn) Johnson, Max Johnson, Charlie Johnson, and his bonus children, Chris Clark (Hanah). He was survived by an amazing dad that "stepped" in to raise him and take him to every football game under the sun. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters (in no particular order): Tony (Brenda) Chapman, Tammy (Ricky) Hegwood, Lisa (Terry) White, and Erica (Scott) Brittain, Gary "Rusty" (Lori) Bouldin, and James R. Bouldin. Randy sadly left behind four of the most gorgeous grandchildren which he loved deeply and talked about often. Survivors also include many special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, including his nephew, Christopher Lance Chapman, who catches 10-pound catfish and beats Randy at fishing.
Randy's wife, Dana, would like to extend a special thank you to a dear and precious friend, Vanessa Bridgeman, and in honor of Vanessa's most amazing (late) husband, Michael, for all that they have done for Randy, Dana, and Charlie.
And last but not least, Randy would want to leave us all with these fine words........ROLL TIDE!
Services will be announced at a later date.
