Randy George Marks Sr., of Neenah, WI, unexpectedly passed away on April 17, 2025, at his home. He was born on April 10, 1960, in Neenah, WI, to the late Ben “Benny” Jr. and Mary Jane “Janie” (Trader) Marks.
On July 16, 1976, Randy married Diane Strebe, and together they built a life filled with love and family. They were blessed with three children: Stacie Marks-Ayala, Amy (Michael) Guerrini, and Randy Jr. (Lina) Marks. Their children later brought immense joy through their grandchildren: Kristen (Matthew) Yount, Tara Wimberly, Matthew Wimberly, Joey Wimberly, Eddie Ayala, Michaela Guerrini, Tyler Guerrini, Anthony Guerrini, Henry Marks, Annabell Marks, and Eliza Marks. Randy was further blessed with three great-grandchildren: Bowie, Lylah, and Lincoln.
Throughout his life, Randy worked tirelessly as an excavator, shaping landscapes and creating foundations for others to build upon—both literally and figuratively. In his leisure time, he found joy in growing the juiciest tomatoes, sharing his harvest with family, friends, and neighbors. His green thumb and dedication to the earth were unmatched, and his garden was a place of love, care, and pride.
Randy will be profoundly missed by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; his siblings, Linda Maas, Jim (Peggy) Marks, Dennis Marks, Vickie (Dan) Thomack, Lori (Brian) Fritz, Jodi (Curt) Noffke, and Scott (Shaney) Marks; his beloved furry friends; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane (Strebe) Marks; his parents, Mary Jane and Ben Marks Jr.; his sister, Brenda Genett, and brother, Gary Marks.
In keeping with Randy’s wishes, he will be cremated, and a private celebration of life will be held.
